History with Bethuel Temple
Sister Destiny Dunston was born into Bethuel Temple Churches of Christ Apostolic, Inc. Sister Destiny was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at an early age and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, on January 16th during a January revival service at the age of 10 years old.
Past and Present Offices
Sister Destiny Dunston holds the office as the chairperson for the Apostle William R. Palmer, Jr. Scholarship Fund, established after the passing of the late Apostle William R. Palmer. She also served as the local Vice President of the Youth Department in Washington, D.C. and is now the National President of the Youth Department. In addition, she serves as an usher, kitchen committee member, and sings in several choirs and is an original member of the PTP Echoes of Edification.
Professional/Education
An employee with the Department of Employment Services s as a contractor in the Office of Youth Programs and Program Support Specialist, in the Workforce Development Bureau, Sister Destiny believes she was placed there to promote holiness and develop as a professional and use it to the glory of God. Sister Destiny has her Bachelor of Science in Social Work (May 2018) her Master’s in Social Work (2019) and aspires to be a licensed Social Worker (LGSW).
Personal
Sister Destiny is the granddaughter of the late Apostle William R. Palmer, Jr. and Esteemed Mother Lerah Palmer. She is the daughter of Sister Pamala Dunston and has two sisters; Lerah and Mikaylah (Andre); and a nephew Ezra James.
